 Hiring Discovery Home Inspection was the best single decision I made in buying a new home. Even a generally solid house has problems and I firmly believe that Mr. Mortensen found them all. Besides a thorough inspection, Mr. Mortensen was readily available, prompt, and courteous. Additionally, it was perfectly clear from the moment the inspection started that we were not doing the inspection as a formality as he educated me every step of the way about the house. He regarded the house as if it were already my home. Within 24 hours of the inspection, I received a 22 page PDF file emailed to me with numerous annotated photographs. The report was comprehensive yet perfectly distilled. My realtor simply cut and pasted the ‘health and safety items into a request to the seller.
